Lady and Gentlemans! It is I, Cartoonikus Warbrush, (formally Ellis Rosen), cartoonist-turned-warlord-biker! As the world fell and societies crumbled, I rose up and took command of a ragtag gang of cartoonists-turned-biker-psychos, the Toonstackators! Our fury and might is known throughout the wasteland. We bike through the ruins of a failed world, drawing our little cartoons, until the blood-soaked highways of Valhalla call our name!
Once again ride to collect the black gold from Inktown, so that we may draw more silly little cartoons that lampoon the rat-circus we used to call earth. You know, like, little relatable anecdotes and such. We will deliver these jokes to you with an iron fist, drenched in fire and blood. But I warn you: do not, my friends, become addicted to cartoons. They will take hold of you, and you will resent their absence.
I am no doomsday prepper but I do think I’d be one to hoard SSRIs.
Imagine if we called it a day before Instagram, TikTok, and Trump? Not a bad innings tbh.
Well now, this is what we call a nice niche apocalypse cartoon for those who enjoy a little Willy Butler Yeats and a nice cat joke accompanied by heavy, simplistic brush strokes. Its target audience might well be just me and my dad, which is great if your idea of success is in personal relationships and not great if your idea of success is in financial remuneration.
I'm saving my frequent flyer miles for the apocalypse. When the zombies/killerbots/desperatehumans/nuclearbombs drop, I will kindly ask United to upgrade me to "first class moon colony with champagne" and then maybe all those years of flying "zero class boarding group z no bags no snack" will be worth it.
This is true: last week I saw the new Mad Max movie and rode in a self-driving car on the same day. One had my heart pumping nonstop and the other featured some amazing cinematography.
This cartoon is totally unrealistic: in the near-future dystopia, no one will ever be cold enough to need a fire.
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And the cannibals came growling after.
